Executive OfficerEmail: email@example.com Clive has been involved in education for 35 years as a primary school teacher in locations from the north-west, wheatbelt and metropolitan area, as a school development officer assisting schools with English and mathematics teaching and planning, deputy principal and relieving principal. A long-time member of MAWA, Clive enjoys teaching mathematics and sharing successful strategies with, and learning from, teachers, with the aim of enhancing learning for teachers and students. He was involved in the trials of First Steps materials. He has also been involved with pre-service teachers throughout his career, including being a practice supervisor for students at Edith Cowan University.
Professional Officer for PrimaryEmail: firstname.lastname@example.org Penelope is an experienced Primary School Teacher who has taught in the Public and Private sectors throughout Western Australia, New South Wales and the United Kingdom. Penelope was responsible for running Professional Learning sessions when the Curriculum Framework was first introduced to schools. She then became Head of Department in Physical Education at her school in London. Penelope also worked for the Borough of Westminster in the UK, training Teachers in Physical Education and Early Years Movement and Maths delivery. She was also involved in talent scouting students for the London 2012 Olympics. Whilst her children were young, she studied finance and has a mortgage broking qualification. Penelope wanted to combine her love of Teaching, Learning and Mathematics and has joined MAWA as a Professional Officer in Primary. Penelope has a passion for Mathematics and is excited to be part of the STEM Learning Project. She has taught all levels of Primary school from Foundation stage through to Year 6 and is currently teaching at an Independent Public School.
Junior Office SupportEmail: email@example.com Holly began her journey with MAWA late 2016, her roles consist of a variety of responsibilities such as accounts receivable/payable, memberships and a range of admin duties. She will be your first point of contact when you ring up searching for information or inquiries about what MAWA runs. As someone who has been in a variety of customer service roles for over 8 years you will be looked after promptly and effectively.
