Description

The Mathematical Association of Western Australia will host the 2025 WA Annual Maths Conference at the Crown Convention Centre, Burswood 19-21 November.

The annual conference aims to assist teachers from early childhood education, primary, secondary, and post-secondary with their professional knowledge, practice, and engagement in mathematics education. All three days are open to educators from K-12+ with Wednesday being aimed at Leaders’.

Empowering Teachers to Engage Students

This year’s conference theme highlights the vital role educators play in fostering deep mathematical understanding. This conference will equip teachers with practical strategies, innovative resources, and research-informed approaches to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences. With a focus on building teacher confidence and capacity, sessions will explore ways to spark curiosity, develop problem-solving skills, and ensure students move beyond rote learning to genuine understanding.

Early bird pricing is only available until 12 September and registrations close 17 October.
