Description

Coloured tiles are a simple (and affordable) manipulative that can help illustrate the “buy one-get many” idea of mental computation, and encourage multiplicative thinking. This session will demonstrate how to use this resource to unlock understanding of the partial product strategy for multiplication, with links to fractions, ratios, and more.
