For more than 65 years, MAWA has provided leadership in improving the quality of mathematics education across Western Australia. Through professional learning, student enrichment, family engagement and advocacy, MAWA supports educators and fosters confidence and curiosity in mathematics for learners of all ages.
As a not-for-profit organisation, MAWA relies on the support and generosity of our members, partners, volunteers and wider community to continue this work.
In 2025, MAWA was deeply honoured to receive a bequest from a devoted Life Member whose commitment to mathematics education and to MAWA extended well beyond her lifetime. Her generosity will strengthen MAWA’s future and help us continue supporting teachers, students and families across Western Australia for years to come.

There are several ways you may choose to leave a gift to MAWA in your Will. We encourage you to seek independent legal and financial advice when preparing or updating your Will to ensure your wishes are clearly and appropriately recorded.
There is no obligation to inform MAWA if you choose to leave a bequest. However, if you do wish to let us know, we would be honoured to acknowledge your intention and thank you personally. Any conversations will be treated with care, sensitivity and confidentiality.
