Number facts are so important, however, are flashcards or rhymes the only option for teacher and parents! A recent survey of Victorian teachers revealed that a whopping 98% of them used games as a regular feature of the mathematics lessons. Games are engaging and often easily differentiated to suit the needs of all students.
During this Classroom Corner the focus will be on number games that use no equipment, dice or cards. Many of these games are great for warmups, group rotations or used at home for consolidation and fun! Learn to play strike, get out of my house, greedy pig and more if time permits!
Electronic copies of all games and instructions will be provided to all participants.
