Description
The aim of the workshop is to help the participants design assessment tasks related to key focal points in student’s learning of fractions.
The presenters will address, in depth, the design of some diagnostic assessment tasks on fractions and concepts related to fractions. Common misconceptions, possible solution strategies and classroom activities will also be discussed.
The workshop will be useful for Year 5-12 teachers who want to help students to improve both their understanding of fractions and test performance on questions involving fractions, including OLNA.
