Description
Probability and Statistics is an area of the curriculum that is ‘screaming out’ for hands on rich tasks and mathematical language. Explore the maths of lotto, snakes and ladders, cat and mouse or teaching mean and median for understanding and not by formula only. Though this workshop will use some of the resources of Maths 300 it is not necessary to have a subscription. Guest access to the Maths 300 software will be available at the workshop and for seven days after. There will be multiple hands-on activities for participants to try and take away.
