Covid Update
Have Sum Fun Face-to-face 2022
 

Due to the changing COVID situation the MAWA board have decided to postpone this year’s competitions to Semester 2. 

The decision was based on the current government restrictions, the process schools are putting in place to limit community spread of Covid-19 and ensuring the safety of everyone attending.

As yet no exact date has been considered as we will be monitoring the situation before a decision is made.

If you have already registered teams and paid you can leave them as registered and we will transfer the fees paid to the new date. If you wish to have a refund please email Tanya at office@mawainc.org.au.

In the unlikely chance that the 2022 competition is cancelled a full refund will be provided.

If you have registered teams but not paid the registration will be cancelled and you will have to register again once a new date is know.

Once again thank you for all of your support and we look forward to seeing you later in the year.
 
2022 MAWA Maths Expo

NOTE : Due to the changing Covid situation the Maths Expo, which was to be held in March, has been postponed until September.

All registrations have been cancelled and you will have to register for the new event if you are interested.

Sunday 11 September 2022
Astral Suite, Crown Convention Centre, Burswood
AM Session: 9:30am – 11:30am
PM Session: 12:30pm – 2:30pm

The expo is a free event and is targeted at families in the aim to provide support to parents and students with mathematics learning at home. 

The expo will showcase interactive resources that can be used to support learning at home. 

It will be a fun, interactive day with lots of opportunity to see a variety of resources that make learning fun, and there are prizes to be won on the day!

Although this is a free event, registration is required. Please register your interest and select which session you wish to attend.
